For the purpose of paragraph 4 of this article, the Conference of the States Parties shall acquire the necessary knowledge of the measures taken by States Parties in implementing this Convention and the difficulties encountered by them in doing so through information provided by them and through such supplemental review mechanisms as may be established by the Conference of the States Parties.
5- لأغراض الفقرة 4 من هذه المادة، يكتسب مؤتمر الدول الأطراف المعرفة اللازمة بالتدابير التي تتخذها الدول الأطراف لتنفيذ هذه الاتفاقية، والصعوبات التي تواجهها في ذلك، من خلال المعلومات التي تقدمها تلك الدول ومن خلال ما قد ينشئه مؤتمر الدول الأطراف من آليات استعراض تكميلية.

5. For the purpose of paragraph 4 of this article, the Conference of the States Parties shall acquire the necessary knowledge of the measures taken by States Parties in implementing this Convention and the difficulties encountered by them in doing so through information provided by them and through such supplemental review mechanisms as may be established by the Conference of the States Parties.
5- لأغراض الفقرة 4 من هذه المادة، يحصل مؤتمر الدول الأطراف على المعرفة اللازمة بالتدابير التي تتخذها الدول الأطراف لتنفيذ هذه الاتفاقية، والصعوبات التي تواجهها في ذلك، من خلال المعلومات التي تقدمها تلك الدول ومن خلال ما قد ينشئه مؤتمر الدول الأطراف من آليات استعراض تكميلية.

ولكي يفي المؤتمر بولايته، كما هو مبيّن في الفقرة 5 من تلك المادة، على المؤتمر أن يكتسب " المعرفة اللازمة بالتدابير التي تتخذها الدول الأطراف لتنفيذ هذه الاتفاقية، والصعوبات التي تواجهها في ذلك، من خلال المعلومات التي تقدّمها تلك الدول ومن خلال ما قد ينشئه مؤتمر الدول الأطراف من آليات استعراض تكميلية " .
