Subsequently, the President made the following statement: " In connection with the adoption of the agenda, I, as the President of the Conference, should like to state that it is understood that if there is a consensus in the Conference to deal with any issues, they could be dealt with within this agenda.
13 - وفي وقت لاحق، أدلى الرئيس بالبيان التالي: " فيما يتصل بإقرار جدول الأعمال، أود أن أصرح بصفتي رئيساً للمؤتمر، بأنه من المفهوم أنه يمكن تناول أية قضية في إطار جدول الأعمال هذا إذا توافقت الآراء في المؤتمر على تناولها.

In connection with the adoption of the agenda, I, as the President of the Conference, should like to state that it is my understanding that if there is a consensus in the Conference to deal with any issues, they could be dealt with within this agenda.
وفيما يتصل بإقرار جدول الأعمال، أود بصفتي رئيس المؤتمر أن أذكر أن فهمي هو أنه إذا كان هناك توافق في الآراء داخل المؤتمر على تناول أية مسائل، فإنه يمكن تناولها ضمن جدول الأعمال هذا.

In connection with the adoption of the agenda, the President made the following statement: " It is my understanding that if there is a consensus in the Conference to deal with any issues, they could be dealt with within this agenda. "
12 - وفيما يتصل بإقرار جدول الأعمال، أدلى الرئيس بالبيان التالي: " أفهم من هذا أنه إذا ما وُجد توافق في الآراء في المؤتمر على تناول أي قضايا، فيمكن تناولها في إطار جدول الأعمال هذا " .

As for the second point raised by the Ambassador of Pakistan, if there is a consensus in the Conference to establish an ad hoc group on negative security assurances, then it certainly will not be the President who decides not to include this element in a programme of work, given that the agenda makes provision for it.
أما فيما يتعلق بالنقطة الثانية التي أثارها سفير باكستان، فإنه إذا وجد توافق في الآراء في المؤتمر بشأن إنشاء فريق مخصص معني بالضمانات الأمنية السلبية، فمن المؤكد أن الرئيس لن يكون هو الذي يقرر ألا يدرج هذا العنصر في برنامج العمل، علماً بأن جدول الأعمال ينص على ذلك.

Now I would like to make the following statement: " With regard to the adoption of the agenda, I would like to state in my capacity as President of the Conference that it is my understanding that, if there is a consensus in the Conference to deal with any given issue, this may be done in the context of this agenda.

10. In connection with the adoption of the agenda, the President made the following statement: AIt is my understanding that if there is a consensus in the Conference to deal with any issues, they could be dealt with within this agenda.@
10- وفيما يتصل بإقرار جدول الأعمال، أدلى الرئيس بالبيان التالي: " أفهم من هذا أنه إذا ما وُجد توافق في الآراء في المؤتمر على تناول أي قضايا، فيمكن تناولها في إطار جدول الأعمال هذا " .

In connection with the adoption of the agenda, the President made the following statement: " It is my understanding that if there is a consensus in the Conference to deal with any issues, they could be dealt with within this agenda. "
12- وفيما يتصل بإقرار جدول الأعمال، أدلى الرئيس بالبيان التالي: " أفهم من هذا أنه إذا ما وُجد توافق في الآراء في المؤتمر على تناول أي قضايا، فيمكن تناولها في إطار جدول الأعمال هذا " .

7. After the adoption of the agenda, the President made the following statement: “In connection with the adoption of the agenda, I, as the President of the Conference, should like to state that it is my understanding that if there is a consensus in the Conference to deal with any issues, they could be dealt with within this agenda”.
7- وبعد إقرار جدول الأعمال ألقى الرئيس البيان التالي: " أودّ فيما يتصل بإقرار جدول الأعمال، وبصفتي رئيس المؤتمر، بيان أنني أفهم من هذا أنه إذا ما وجد توافق في الآراء في المؤتمر على تناول أي قضايا فيمكن تناولها في إطار جدول الأعمال هذا " .

7. After the adoption of the agenda, the President made the following statement: AIn connection with the adoption of the agenda, I, as the President of the Conference, should like to state that it is my understanding that if there is a consensus in the Conference to deal with any issues, they could be dealt with within this agenda@.
7- وبعد إقرار جدول الأعمال ألقى الرئيس البيان التالي: " فيما يتصل بإقرار جدول الأعمال، أود، بصفتي رئيس المؤتمر، بيان أنني أفهم من هذا أنه إذا ما وجد توافق في الآراء في المؤتمر على تناول أي قضايا فيمكن تناولها في إطار جدول الأعمال هذا " .
