Recommendation 36/21 of the thirty-sixth meeting of the Implementation Committee had noted with appreciation that the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya had completed implementation in 2005 of its commitments contained in decision XVII/37 to maintain its 2005 consumption of halons at a level no greater than 714.500 ODP-tonnes and its 2005 consumption of methyl bromide at a level no greater than 96.000 ODP-tonnes.
