1. The Special Rapporteur on the human rights situation in Burundi is submitting this report to the General Assembly in accordance with Commission on Human Rights resolution 1996/1.
١ - عملا بقرار لجنة حقوق اﻹنسان ١٩٩٦/١ يقدم المقرر الخاص المعني بحالة حقوق اﻹنسان في بوروندي هذا التقرير إلى الجمعية العامة.

(d) The Mission recommends that the Human Rights Council should submit this report to the General Assembly with a request that it should be considered;

In its decision SS.VIII/1, entitled " Implementation of decision SS.VII/1 on international environmental governance " the Governing Council/Global Ministerial Environment Forum decided to convey this report to the General Assembly for its consideration.
ففي مقرره د.إ - 8/1 بعنوان " المقرر د.إ - 7/1 بشأن أسلوب الإدارة البيئية الدولية " قرر مجلس الإدارة/المنتدى البيئي الوزاري العالمي أن يرفع هذا التقرير إلى الجمعية العامة للنظر فيه.

Sir Michael WESTON (United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland): As you will know from our consultations, the Western Group is unanimously in favour of transmitting this report to the General Assembly and you presented the members of the Conference, through the Group Coordinators, with a draft on Tuesday of the report which you suggested should be made to the General Assembly.
