1 - تحيط اللجنة الأمم المتحدة علما بأنشطتها، في نطاق اختصاصها ووفقا لأحكام المعاهدة، ويمكن أن تقدم عن طريق الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة تقارير عن هذه الأنشطة إلى الهيئات الرئيسية المعنية التابعة للأمم المتحدة، على أساس منتظم أو حسب مقتضيات الأحوال.

4. The High Contracting Parties undertake to consult each other and to cooperate with each other bilaterally, through the Secretary-General of the United Nations or through other appropriate international procedures, to resolve any problems that may arise with regard to the interpretation and application of the provisions of this Protocol.

3. If the requesting State Party does not receive a response through the Secretary-General of the United Nations within that time period, or deems the response to the Request for Clarification to be unsatisfactory, it may submit the matter through the Secretary-General of the United Nations to the next Meeting of States Parties.
3 - إذا لم تتلق الدولة الطرف الطالبة ردا عن طريق الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة في غضون تلك الفترة الزمنية، أو رأت أن الرد على طلب التوضيح غير مرض، فلها أن تعرض المسألة، عن طريق الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة، على الاجتماع التالي للدول الأطراف.

4- تتعهد الأطراف السامية المتعاقدة بالتشاور والتعاون فيما بينها ثنائياً، بواسطة الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة أو من خلال إجراءات دولية ملائمة أخرى، لحسم أي مشكلات قد تنشأ فيما يتعلق بتفسير وتطبيق أحكام الاتفاقية وبروتوكولاتها الملحقة.

47. It was also pointed out that such a trust fund would be financed on the basis of voluntary contributions and that the most appropriate way for the Meeting of States Parties to proceed would be to address a recommendation to the General Assembly through the Secretary-General of the United Nations.
٤٧ - وقد أشير أيضا إلى أن هذا الصندوق الاستئماني سيجري تمويله من التبرعات وأن أنسب طريقة لمضي اجتماع الدول اﻷطراف قدما في هذا الشأن هى أن يوجه توصية إلى الجمعية العامة من خلال اﻷمين العام لﻷمم المتحدة.
