ويؤكد هذا القرار " الحاجة الملحة لأن تقبل جميع دول الشرق الأوسط على الفور تطبيق الضمانات الشاملة للوكالة على كل ما لديها من أنشطة نووية باعتبار ذلك تدبيرا مهما من تدابير بناء الثقة فيما بين جميع دول المنطقة وخطوة نحو تعزيز السلام والأمن في سياق إنشاء منطقة خالية من الأسلحة النووية " .

" 6 - ويعيد المؤتمر تأكيد ضرورة قبول جميع الدول في الشرق الأوسط على الفور تطبيق كامل ضمانات الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية على جميع أنشطتها النووية وفقا للمادة الثالثة من المعاهدة وكتدبير هام لبناء الثقة فيما بين جميع دول المنطقة وكتعزيز للسلم والأمن في سياق إنشاء منطقة خالية من الأسلحة النووية.
