11. The ISU organised and led a briefing on 30 March for the States Parties mandated in 2012 to analyse requests submitted under Article 5 of the Convention.

Also in the context of its consideration of the general status and operation of the Convention, the Meeting considered a report presented by the President of the Eleventh Meeting of the States Parties on behalf of the States Parties mandated to analyse requests submitted under Article 5 of the Convention on " Reflections on the Article 5 Extension Process " , as contained in APLC/MSP.12/2012/4.
