وتؤكد كوبا مجددا ضرورة مواصلة اتخاذ ما يلزم من تدابير وطنية وثنائية وإقليمية ومتعددة الأطراف للمساهمة في تطبيق أوجه التقدم العلمي والتكنولوجي في إطار الأمن الدولي، ونزع السلاح وغير ذلك من المجالات ذات الصلة، دون الإضرار بالبيئة أو التأثير سلبا على مساهمتها الفعالة في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة.
