As requested by the relevant intergovernmental bodies, the present report updates information on developments regarding the assistance provided by the organizations of the United Nations system to countries invoking Article 50 of the Charter of the United Nations.

324. A number of delegations expressed satisfaction with the continuing work of ACC in the area of assistance to countries invoking Article 50 of the Charter.
٣٢٤ - وأعرب عدد من الوفود عن ارتياحه لاستمرار عمل لجنة التنسيق اﻹدارية في مجال تقديم المعونة للبلدان التي تطلبها استنادا إلى المادة ٥٠ من الميثاق.

Section V of the report presents updated information on the assistance provided by the United Nations system to countries invoking Article 50 of the Charter of the United Nations.
٦ - ويقدم الفرع الخامس معلومات مستكملة عن المساعدة التي تقدمها منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة إلى البلدان التي تطلبها استنادا إلى المادة ٥٠ من ميثاق اﻷمم المتحدة.

The Committee noted with appreciation the efforts of the Secretary-General, including in his capacity as Chairman of ACC, in mobilizing and coordinating assistance to countries invoking Article 50 of the Charter and requested him to continue those efforts and report on the outcome thereof in the next overview report of ACC.
٤٥ - وأحاطت اللجنة علما مع التقدير بالجهود التي يبذلها اﻷمين العام، بما في ذلك ما يبذله بصفته رئيسا للجنة التنسيق الادارية، في حشد وتنسيق المساعدة المقدمة الى البلدان بالاستناد الى المادة ٥٠ من الميثاق، وطلبت إليه أن يواصل بذل هذه الجهود وأن يقدم تقريرا عن نتائجها في التقرير الشامل المقبل للجنة التنسيق الادارية.

77. CPC had stressed the importance of continued attention on the part of the Secretary-General, including in his capacity as Chairman of ACC, to efforts of assistance to countries invoking Article 50 of the Charter of the United Nations.
٧٧ - وتؤكد اللجنة أن أهمية أن يواصل اﻷمين العام، وخاصة باعتباره رئيس لجنة التنسيق اﻹدارية، إيلاء اهتمام خاص لجهود تقديم المساعدة إلى البلدان التي تطلبها بموجب المادة ٥٠ من ميثاق اﻷمم المتحدة.

278. Support was expressed for the measures being taken within the United Nations system in providing assistance to countries invoking Article 50 of the Charter of the United Nations.
٢٧٨ - وأعرب عن التأييد للتدابير التي يجري اتخاذها داخل منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة في مجال تقديم المساعدة إلى البلدان بالاستناد إلى المادة ٥٠ من ميثاق اﻷمم المتحدة.

58. Several members, referring to the information provided in the report on assistance to countries invoking Article 50 of the Charter of the United Nations, stated that there was a large gap between the losses incurred by the affected countries as a result of abiding by the sanctions and the assistance being provided to them by the international community.
٥٨ - وأشار عدة أعضاء إلى المعلومات الواردة في التقرير عن المساعدة المقدمة إلى البلدان استنادا إلى المادة ٠٥ من ميثاق اﻷمم المتحدة، وقالوا إن هناك فجوة كبيرة بين الخسائر التي تتكبدها الدول المتضررة نتيجة لالتزامها بالجزاءات وبين المساعدة المقدمة إليها من المجتمع الدولي.

65. The Committee stressed the importance of continuing the efforts of the Secretary-General, including in his capacity as Chairman of ACC, in mobilizing and coordinating assistance to countries invoking Article 50 of the Charter and requested him to continue those efforts and report on the outcome thereon in the next overview report of ACC.
٦٥ - وأبرزت اللجنة أهمية مواصلة جهود اﻷمين العام، بصفته أيضا رئيس لجنة التنسيق اﻹدارية، لتعبئة وتنسيق تقديم المساعدة إلى البلدان استنادا إلى المادة ٥٠ من الميثاق، وطلبت اللجنة إليه مواصلة هذه الجهود والافادة عن نتائجها في التقرير الاستعراضي التالي للجنة التنسيق اﻹدارية.

39. During the discussion, a number of delegations expressed satisfaction with the continuing work of the Administrative Committee on Coordination in the area of assistance to countries invoking Article 50 of the Charter.
٣٩ - وفي أثناء المناقشة، أعرب عدد من الوفود عن ارتياحه لمواصلة لجنة التنسيق اﻹدارية عملها في مجال تقديم المعونة للبلدان التي تطلبها استنادا إلى المادة ٥٠ من الميثاق.

338. The Committee took note of the information provided on assistance to countries invoking Article 50 of the Charter and indicated its support for measures for assisting countries that had been affected by the implementation of Security Council resolutions 661 (1990) and 724 (1991).
٣٣٨ - وأحاطت اللجنــة علمــا بالمعلومات المقدمة عن توفير المعونة للبلدان التي تطلبها استنادا إلى المادة ٥٠ من الميثاق وأبدت تأييدها لﻹجراءات الخاصة بمساعدة البلدان التي تضررت من تنفيذ قراري مجلس اﻷمن ٦٦١ )١٩٩٠( و ٧٢٤ )١٩٩١(.

In accordance with relevant recommendations of CPC, this report provides, as in previous years, updated information on the assistance provided by the organizations of the United Nations system to countries invoking Article 50 of the Charter of the United Nations.

The Committee noted with appreciation the efforts of the Secretary-General, including in his capacity as Chairman of ACC, in mobilizing and coordinating assistance to countries invoking Article 50 of the Charter and requested him to continue these efforts and report on the outcome thereof in the next overview report of ACC.
١١ - وأحاطت اللجنة علما مع التقدير بالجهود التي يبذلها اﻷمين العام، بما في ذلك ما يبذله بصفته رئيسا للجنة التنسيق الادارية، في حشد وتنسيق المساعدة المقدمة الى البلدان بالاستناد الى المادة ٥٠ من الميثاق، وطلبت إليه أن يواصل بذل هذه الجهود وأن يقدم تقريرا عن نتائجها في الاستعراض الشامل المقبل للجنة التنسيق الادارية.

41. At its thirty-sixth session, the Committee for Programme and Coordination requested that developments with regard to the assistance provided to countries invoking Article 50 of the Charter of the United Nations continue to be covered in ACC annual reports.
٤١ - طلبت لجنة البرنامج والتنسيق، في دورتها السادسة والثلاثين، أن تواصل تقارير لجنة التنسيق اﻹدارية السنوية تغطية التطورات المتعلقة بالمساعدة المقدمة إلى البلدان التي تطلبها بموجب المادة ٥٠ من ميثاق اﻷمم المتحدة.

278. Support was expressed for the measures being undertaken within the United Nations system in providing assistance to countries invoking Article 50 of the Charter of the United Nations.
٢٧٨ - وأعرب عن التأييد للتدابير التي يجري اتخاذها داخل منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة في مجال تقديم المساعدة إلى البلدان بالاستناد إلى المادة ٥٠ من ميثاق اﻷمم المتحدة.

574. In the area of assistance to countries invoking Article 50 of the Charter, it was noted that the report recounted actions taken by the General Assembly and the Economic and Social Council, but should also cover inter-agency work on the subject.
574 - وفي مجال المساعدة المقدمة إلى البلدان التي تطلب تطبيق المادة 50 من الميثاق، أشير إلى أن التقرير عدّد الإجراءات التي اتخذتها الجمعية العامة والمجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي ولكنه ينبغي أيضا أن يتناول الأعمال المشتركة بين الوكالات فيما يتعلق بهذا الموضوع.
