In part III, the Assembly decides to establish an ad hoc committee to elaborate an international convention for the suppression of terrorist bombings and an international convention for the suppression of acts of nuclear terrorism, to supplement related existing international instruments. The ad hoc committee would also address means of further developing a comprehensive legal framework of conventions dealing with international terrorism.
وفي الجزء الثالث تقرر الجمعية العامة إنشاء لجنة مخصصة لوضع اتفاقية دولية لقمع الهجمات اﻹرهابية بالقنابل، واتفاقية دولية لقمع أعمال اﻹرهاب النووي، لاستكمال الصكوك الدولية القائمة ذات الصلة؛ ثم تناول وسائل مواصلة تطوير إطار قانوني شامل للاتفاقيات التي تعالج اﻹرهاب الدولي.

Furthermore, the resolution recommended that the General Assembly establish an ad hoc committee to elaborate an international convention for the suppression of terrorist bombing and, subsequently, an international convention for the suppression of acts of nuclear terrorism, and thereafter to address means of further developing a comprehensive legal framework of conventions dealing with international terrorism.

18. Mr. Al-Mulla (Bahrain) said that his delegation had followed with great interest the deliberations of the working group of the Ad Hoc Committee established by General Assembly resolution 51/210 to elaborate an international convention for the suppression of terrorist bombings.
١٨ - السيد الملا )البحرين(: قال إن وفده تتبع باهتمام كبير مداولات الفريق العامل التابع للجنة المخصصة المنشأة بموجب قرار الجمعية العامة ٥١/٢١٠ لوضع اتفاقية دولية للقضاء على الهجمات اﻹرهابية بالقنابل.

It was necessary to put an end to the phenomenon through international cooperation and the adoption of measures such as those provided for in General Assembly resolutions 49/60, of 9 December 1994, and 51/210, of 17 December 1996, which provided for the establishment of an Ad Hoc Committee to elaborate an international convention for the suppression of terrorist bombings.

At the same time, his delegation supported the proposal regarding adoption of the Special Committee's reports in accordance with the procedure used by the Ad Hoc Committee to elaborate an international convention for the suppression of terrorist bombings, established by General Assembly resolution 51/210 of 17 December 1996.
وأضاف أن وفده، في الوقت نفسه، يؤيد الاقتراح المتعلق باعتماد تقارير اللجنة الخاصة وفقا للإجراء المتبع في اللجنة المخصصة لوضع اتفاقية دولية لقمع الهجمات الإرهابية بالقنابل الذي أنشأته الجمعية العامة بقرارها 51/210 المؤرخ 17 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1996.

119. The Kyrgyz Republic supported the idea of establishing an ad hoc committee, open to all Member States, to elaborate an international convention for the suppression of terrorist bombings, but felt that the ad hoc committee's mandate should be broadened to include all other terrorist acts.
١١٩ - ففكرة إنشاء لجنة مخصصة مفتوح باب العضوية فيها لجميع الدول اﻷعضاء تتولى إعداد اتفاقية دولية للقضاء على الاعتداءات اﻹرهابية بالمتفجرات تحظى بتأييد جمهورية قيرغيزستان لكن ولاية هذه اللجنة يجب أن توسع لتشمل جميع اﻷفعال اﻹرهابية اﻷخرى.
