5. The Conference of the Parties shall identify, at its first ordinary session, an organization to house the Global Mechanism.
٥- يعين مؤتمر اﻷطراف، في دورته العادية اﻷولى، منظمة لايواء اﻵلية العالمية.

6. The Conference of the Parties shall, at its first session, make appropriate arrangements with the organization it has identified to house the Global Mechanism for the administrative operations of such Mechanism, drawing to the extent possible on existing budgetary and human resources.
٦- يضع مؤتمر اﻷطراف في دورته اﻷولى ترتيبات مناسبة مع المنظمة التي يكون قد عينها باستضافة اﻵلية العالمية من أجل العمليات اﻹدارية لهذه اﻵلية، مع الاعتماد بقدر اﻹمكان على موارد الميزانية والموارد البشرية الموجودة.

At its 13th plenary meeting on 10 October, the President reported that his informal consultations indicated a trend in favour of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) to house the Global Mechanism.
٨٤- أفاد الرئيس، في الجلسة العامة الثالثة عشرة للمؤتمر المعقودة في ٠١ تشرين اﻷول/أكتوبر، بأن مشاوراته غير الرسمية تدل على الاتجاه نحو تأييد قيام الصندوق الدولي للتنمية الزراعية بإيواء اﻵلية العالمية.

This was to be done in consultation with IFAD and UNDP, the two institutions that the INCD, in its decision 10/3, invited to make the revised offers to house the Global Mechanism contained in Appendices II and III of document ICCD/COP(1)/5.
