١٠ - يطلب إلى اﻷمين العام أن يطلع المجلس أولا بأول على جميع التطورات الهامة، ويطلب إليه أيضا أن يقدم تقريرا عن تنفيذ هذا القرار في غضون ثلاثة أشهر من اعتماده؛

It also reaffirmed the duty of Iraq to meet its disarmament obligations, and invited the United Kingdom and the United States to keep the Council informed of their activities in that regard, and underlined the intention of the Council to revisit the mandates of UNMOVIC and IAEA.
كما أكد من جديد ضرورة أن يلبي العراق التزاماته بشأن نزع السلاح، ودعا المملكة المتحدة والولايات المتحدة إلى إبقاء المجلس على علم بأنشطتهما في هذا الشأن وشدد على اعتزام المجلس العودة إلى النظر في ولايات لجنة الأمم المتحدة للرصد والتحقق والتفتيش والوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية.
