The Committee's Chairman addressed a letter to Esteban Conejos, Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines and Coordinator of the Global Forum on Migration and Development 2008, in order to invite him to make the Convention a central theme during one of the sessions at the Forum and in order to offer the Committee's cooperation in this regard.
