In paragraph 6 of its resolution 62/48, the General Assembly invited Member States to provide the Secretary-General with information regarding measures and efforts to devote part of the resources made available by the implementation of disarmament and arms limitation agreements to economic and social development.

In paragraph 6 of the resolution, the General Assembly reiterated its invitation to Member States to provide the Secretary-General with information regarding measures and efforts to devote part of the resources made available by the implementation of disarmament and arms limitation agreements to economic and social development.
2 - وفي الفقرة 6 من القرار، كررت الجمعية العامة دعوة الدول الأعضاء إلى أن تقدم إلى الأمين العام معلومات عن ما تتخذه من تدابير وما تبذله من جهود كي تكرس لصالح التنمية الاقتصادية جزءا من الموارد المتاحة نتيجة تنفيذ اتفاقات نزع السلاح والحد من التسلح.

11. Invites Governments to provide the Secretary-General with information on promising practices and legislation concerning victim-related issues with a view to establishing a database and a clearing house for the provision of a continuing service for governmental agencies and non-governmental organizations, as proposed by the above-mentioned expert group meetings;
١١ - يدعو الحكومات إلى تزويد اﻷمين العام بالمعلومات عن الممارسات والتشريعات الواعدة فيما يتعلق بالمسائل ذات الصلة بالضحايا، بهدف إنشاء قاعدة للبيانات ومركز لتبادل المعلومات لتوفير خدمة متواصلة للوكالات الحكومية والمنظمات غير الحكومية، وفقا لما اقترح في اجتماعي فريق الخبراء اﻵنفي الذكر؛

" (a) To respect international standards that provide safeguards guaranteeing protection of the rights of those facing the death penalty, in particular the minimum standards, as set out in the annex to Economic and Social Council resolution 1984/50 of 25 May 1984, as well as to provide the Secretary-General with information in this regard;
" (أ) أن تحترم المعايير الدولية التي توفر ضمانات تكفل حماية حقوق الأشخاص الذين يواجهون عقوبة الإعدام، وبخاصة المعايير الدنيا، بصيغتها الواردة في مرفق قرار المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي 1984/50 المؤرخ 25 أيار/مايو 1984، وأن تزود الأمين العام بمعلومات في هذا الشأن؛

Requests the Secretary-General to bring the present resolution to the attention of all States, relevant intergovernmental organizations, the organizations and bodies of the United Nations system, subregional and regional fisheries management organizations and relevant non-governmental organizations, and to invite them to provide the Secretary-General with information relevant to the implementation of the present resolution;

One of the key aspects under constant consideration has been the need to provide the Secretary-General with information on meetings of the Antarctic Treaty Consultative Parties and on their activities, in addition to the information which they must provide on developments in relation to Antarctica.
