٧٦٢ - وتلفت اللجنة انتباه الدولة الطرف الى تعديل الفقرة ٦ من المادة ٨ من الاتفاقية، الذي أقرته الدول اﻷطراف في اجتماعها الرابع عشر واعتمدته الجمعية العامة في قرارها ٤٧/١١١، وهي تشجع الدولة الطرف على اﻹسراع في اتخاذ اﻹجراءات اللازمة للقبول رسميا بذلك التعديل.

The Committee draws the attention of the State party to the amendment to article 8, paragraph 6, of the Convention, which was approved by the fifteenth meeting of States parties and by the General Assembly in its resolution 47/111, and encourages the State party to expedite its action to accept formally that amendment.
١٥٩ - وتوجه اللجنة نظر الدولة الطرف إلى التعديل الذي أدخل على الفقرة ٦ من المادة ٨ من الاتفاقية، والذي وافق عليه الاجتماع الخامس عشر للدول اﻷطراف كما وافقت عليه الجمعية العامة في قرارها ٤٧/١١١، وهي تشجع الدولة الطرف على الاسراع في اتخاذ الاجراءات اللازمة للقبول رسميا بهذا التعديل.

In this connection, the Committee cites General Assembly resolutions 61/148, 63/243 and 65/200, in which the Assembly General strongly urged States parties to accelerate their domestic ratification procedures with regard to the amendment to the Convention concerning the financing of the Committee and to notify the Secretary-General expeditiously in writing of their agreement to the amendment.
