فإذا أجريت ثلاثة اقتراعات غير مقيدة وكانت النتيجة غير حاسمة، تقتصر الاقتراعات الثلاثة التالية على المرشحين الذين حصلوا على أكبر عدد من الأصوات في ثالث اقتراع غير مقيد وعلى عدد من المرشحين لا يزيد عن ضعف عدد المناصب الباقية المطلوب شغلها.

In such case, the voting shall be restricted to the candidates who obtained the largest number of votes in the previous ballot, the number of whom should not exceed twice the number of places remaining to be filled.

وإذا كان عدد المرشحين الحاصلين على أغلبية بسيطة يقل عن عدد الأعضاء الذين ينبغي انتخابهم، يجرى اقتراع إضافي لملء المقاعد المتبقية، على أن يقتصر التصويت على المرشحين الحاصلين على أكبر عدد من الأصوات في الاقتراع السابق، على ألا يتجاوز عددهم ضعف عدد المقاعد المتبقية التي يتعين ملؤها.
