It recalled that it is implicit in rule 91 of its rules of procedure and article 4, paragraph 2, of the Optional Protocol, that a State party to the Covenant should make available to the Committee all the information at its disposal, including, at the stage of determination of the admissibility of the communication, detailed information about remedies available to the victims of the alleged violation in the circumstances of their cases.

Noting the drafting by the Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights of a general comment on article 3 of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, setting out that States parties to the Covenant should undertake to ensure the equal right of men and women to the enjoyment of all economic, social and cultural rights set forth in the Covenant,
إذ تلاحظ صياغة لجنة الحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية لتعليق عام على المادة 3 من العهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية يؤكد أن على الدول الأطراف في العهد أن تتعهد بضمان المساواة بين الرجل والمرأة في حق التمتع بجميع الحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية المحددة في العهد،

It is implicit in rule 91 of the Committee's rules of procedure and article 4, paragraph 2, of the Optional Protocol, that a State party to the Covenant should investigate in good faith all the allegations of violations of the Covenant made against it, and submit to the Committee written explanations or statements clarifying the matter and the remedy, if any, that may have been granted by it.
ويُستفاد ضمناً من نص المادة 91 من النظام الداخلي للجنة والفقرة 2من المادة 4 من البروتوكول الاختياري أنه ينبغي للدولة الطرف في العهد أن تحقق بحسن نية في جميع ادعاءات انتهاك العهد الموجهة ضدها، وأن تقدم إلى اللجنة شروحاً أو بيانات خطية توضح فيها المسألة وسبيل الانتصاف الذي ربما تكون تلك الدولة قد منحته.
