In the light of the constructive role played by such missions in the past, the General Assembly should attach utmost importance to the dispatch of visiting missions as a means of collecting adequate first-hand information on conditions in the Non-Self-Governing Territories.
وعلى ضوء الدور البناء الذي اضطلعت به تلك البعثات في الماضي ينبغي للجمعية العامة أن تولي أهمية قصوى ﻹيفاد البعثات الزائرة بوصفها وسيلة لجمع معلومات كافية مباشرة عن الظروف السائدة في اﻷقاليم غير المتمتعة بالحكم الذاتي.
