وإذ تدرك أيضا أن الاستثمار الاقتصادي اﻷجنبي يمكن، متى تم بالتعاون مع شعوب اﻷقاليم غير المتمتعة بالحكم الذاتي ووفقا لرغباتها، أن يسهم إسهاما حقيقيا في التنمية الاقتصادية - الاجتماعية لتلك اﻷقاليم وكذلك في ممارستها لحقها في تقرير المصير،

They also pointed out that any work programme should include an information and education campaign for the peoples of the said Territories, visiting missions of the Special Committee to ascertain the situation in these Territories first-hand, and a consultation process acceptable to the peoples in these Territories leading to the exercise of their right to self-determination in accordance with United Nations resolutions.
وأشاروا أيضا إلى أنه ينبغي لأي برنامج عمل أن يشتمل على حملة إعلامية وتثقيفية توجه لشعوب الأقاليم المذكورة، وعلى بعثات زائرة توفدها اللجنة الخاصة للتثبت من الحالة في هذه الأقاليم على نحو مباشر، وعلى عملية للتشاور تكون مقبولة لدى شعوب هذه الأقاليم، وتؤدي بها إلى ممارسة حقها في تقرير المصير وفقا لقرارات الأمم المتحدة.

وإذ تدرك أيضا أن الاستثمار الاقتصادي اﻷجنبي عندما يوظف بالتعاون مع شعوب اﻷقاليم غير المتمتعة بالحكم الذاتي ووفقا لرغباتها قد يسهم إسهاما فعليا في التنمية الاجتماعية - الاقتصادية لﻷقاليم وقد يسهم أيضا اسهاما فعليا في ممارستها لحق تقرير المصير،

7. Considers that foreign investment, in collaboration with the peoples of the Non-Self-Governing Territories and in conformity with their needs, constitutes an important factor in the socio-economic development of the Territories and can make a valid contribution to the exercise of their right to self-determination;
٧ - ترى أن الاستثمار اﻷجنبي، بالتعاون مع شعوب اﻷقاليم غير المتمتعة بالحكم الذاتي ووفقا لاحتياجاتها، يشكل عاملا هاما في التنمية الاجتماعية والاقتصادية لهذه اﻷقاليم ويمكن أن يسهم إسهاما فعالا في ممارستها لحقها في تقرير المصير؛

They also point out that any work programme should include an information and education campaign for the peoples of the said Territories, visiting missions of the Special Committee to ascertain the situation in those Territories first-hand, and a consultation process acceptable to the peoples in those Territories leading to the exercise of their right to self-determination in accordance with United Nations resolutions.
