8. The SCF also recommends that the COP, in providing initial guidance to the Green Climate Fund (GCF), take into consideration the elements of draft initial guidance to the GCF contained in annex VI.

On a proposal by the President, the COP adopted decision 4/CP.19, entitled " Report of the Green Climate Fund to the Conference of the Parties and guidance to the Green Climate Fund " .
وبناءً على اقتراح من الرئيس()، اعتمد مؤتمر الأطراف المقرر 4/م أ-19 المعنون " تقرير الصندوق الأخضر للمناخ المقدَّم إلى مؤتمر الأطراف والإرشادات الموجَّهة إلى الصندوق الأخضر للمناخ " .

With regard to the fourth function of the Adaptation Committee, several Parties pointed out that the Committee should not have an operational role in relation to the Green Climate Fund or any operating entity of the financial mechanism, such as on issues related to the prioritization of funds or on initiatives to be funded, but that it should rather support the COP in its work.
17- أشار عدد من الأطراف، بخصوص الوظيفة الرابعة للجنة التكيف، إلى أن اللجنة ينبغي ألا تضطلع بدور تشغيلي فيما يتصل بالصندوق الأخضر للمناخ أو أي كيان تشغيلي للآلية المالية، كأن تُعنى بمسائل أولويات الصناديق أو الأنشطة الواجب تمويلها، بل ينبغي أن تدعم مؤتمر الأطراف في ما يقوم به من عمل.
