وإذا كان أحد الأطراف عضواً في اتفاق بموجب المادة 4 يقضي بالوفاء بالتزاماته بصورة مشتركة فإن الكمية المخصصة هي الكمية المخصصة للطرف بموجب ذلك الاتفاق.

If a Party is a member of an Article 4 agreement to fulfil commitments jointly, the assigned amount is the assigned amount allocated to the Party under that agreement.

Each Party shall manage mercury stored on an interim basis pending recycling or a use allowed to the Party under this Convention in a manner consistent with the guidance on environmentally sound storage adopted by the Conference of the Parties to the Basel Convention on the Control of Transboundary Movements of Hazardous Wastes and Their Disposal.
على كل طرف أن يدير الزئبق المخزون بصفة مؤقتة ريثما تجري إعادة تدويره أو السماح للطرف بموجب هذه الاتفاقية باستخدامه على نحو يتفق مع التوجيهات المتعلقة بالتخزين السليم بيئياً المعتمدة من جانب مؤتمر الأطراف في اتفاقية بازل بشأن التحكّم في نقل النفايات الخطرة والتخلص منها عبر الحدود.
