In addition to the information contained in an addendum to the report of the Secretary-General of 30 July 2004 (A/59/203/Add.1), the Government provided updated information on the request of El Salvador to freeze funds in Panama on the suspicion that those funds were derived from acts of corruption in El Salvador.

2. By its resolution 1148 (1998) of 26 January 1998, the Council approved the deployment of an engineering unit required for demining activities and additional administrative staff required to support the deployment of military personnel, as proposed in annex II to the report of the Secretary-General of 13 November 1997 (S/1997/882 and Add.1).
