II. Methodologies for the consideration of toxicological interactions

The Stockholm Convention recognizes the need to address the simultaneous hazard of multiple chemicals and Annex E of the Stockholm Convention outlines that toxicological interactions involving multiple chemicals should be considered when assessing the hazard for endpoints or endpoints of concern.

By its decision POPRC-7/9, the Committee established an ad hoc working group to develop a draft approach for the consideration of toxicological interactions when evaluating chemicals proposed for listing in the annexes to the Stockholm Convention.
