Georgia accords special attention to taking into account relevant environmental norms in negotiating treaties and agreements on disarmament and arms control, and fully ensures compliance with the aforementioned norms in the implementation of treaties and conventions.
تولي جورجيا اهتماما خاصا لمسألة مراعاة المعايير البيئية المعنية عند التفاوض على معاهدات واتفاقات نزع السلاح وتحديد الأسلحة، وهي تكفل بالكامل التقيد بهذه المعايير في تنفيذ المعاهدات والاتفاقيات.

1. Invites the Conference on Disarmament to take every necessary measure to include in negotiating treaties and agreements on disarmament and arms limitation the corresponding environmental norms, with a view to ensuring that the process of implementation of such treaties and agreements is environmentally sound, in particular the destruction of weapons covered by them;
١ - تدعو مؤتمر نزع السلاح اتخاذ جميع التدابير اللازمة لتضمين التفاوض بشأن معاهدات واتفاقات نزع السلاح والحد من اﻷسلحة ما يلزم من قواعد بيئية بهدف كفالة أن تكون عملية تطبيق هذه المعاهدات والاتفاقات سليمة بيئيا، ولا سيما تدمير اﻷسلحة التي تنص عليها؛

" 1. وأكدوا مجدداً أن المحافل الدولية لنزع السلاح يتعيَّن أن تأخذ في حسبانها تماماً المعايير البيئية ذات الصلة عند التفاوض على المعاهدات والاتفاقيات بشأن نزع السلاح والحد من الأسلحة، وأنه يتعيَّن على جميع الدول من خلال أفعالها أن تسهم مساهمة كاملة في ضمان الامتثال للمعايير المذكورة أعلاه عند تنفيذ الاتفاقيات والمعاهدات التي هي طرف فيها.

Cuba reaffirms the importance of the strict observance of environmental norms in the drafting and implementation of agreements on disarmament and arms control and shares the position adopted by the Movement of Non-Aligned Countries that, in international disarmament forums, full account should be taken of the relevant environmental norms in the negotiation of international treaties and agreements on disarmament and arms control.
تؤكد كوبا من جديد أهمية التقيد الصارم بالقواعد البيئية في صياغة وتنفيذ اتفاقات نزع السلاح وتحديد الأسلحة، وتؤيد الموقف الذي اتخذته بلدان حركة عدم الانحياز الذي مفاده أنه تنبغي المراعاة التامة للمعايير البيئية ذات الصلة لدى التفاوض، في المحافل الدولية لنـزع السلاح، على معاهدات واتفاقات نزع السلاح وتحديد الأسلحة.

Likewise, Cuba believes that environmental norms relevant to negotiating treaties and agreements on disarmament and arms limitation, as set out in draft resolution A/C.1/64/L.12, should be fully taken into account in international disarmament forums.
وبالمثل، ترى كوبا أنه ينبغي مراعاة القواعد البيئية الهامة لدى التفاوض على المعاهدات والاتفاقات المتعلقة بنزع السلاح وتحديد الأسلحة، كما ترد في مشروع القرار A/C.1/64/L.12، مراعاة تامة في المنتديات الدولية لنزع السلاح.
