21. In a session chaired together with Ms Caroline Wörgötter of Austria, as Coordinator for Victim Assistance under CCW Protocol V, the Coordinators invited States to continue their deliberations on assistance for victims of IEDs.

24. The Coordinator for Victim Assistance under CCW Protocol V presented the 2008 Plan of Action on Victim Assistance of Protocol V and underlined the usefulness of the plan as a " guiding tool " that could serve High Contracting Parties of Protocol V when they were implementing victim assistance provisions.

27. The Conference decided that the Group of Experts shall continue to explore the issue of IEDs in the context of the Amended Protocol II focusing, in particular, on the strict and effective implementation of all relevant provisions of the Protocol and - when appropriate - in synergy with the related activities under CCW Protocol V.

(a) Comprehensive consideration of the national reporting pursuant to article 10, paragraph 2 (b) of the Protocol was made at the 2009 Meeting of Experts (22-24 April 2009), at the " Guide to National Reporting under CCW Protocol V " was produced and recommended for use;

In order to make an immediate progress, the Coordinator has suggested including the thrust of the Discussion Paper 2 on the subject of the Article 4 Generic Electronic Template into the form B of the " Guide to National Reporting under CCW Protocol V " to be proposed for adoption by the Third Conference of the High Contracting Parties to Protocol V.
