Her delegation agreed with the many others that wanted the Commission to focus on obligations under existing treaties and begin its work with a study of State practice.

B. Applicability to the settlement of disputes arising under existing treaties

His delegation also supported enhanced cooperation between host States and the State of nationality of alleged offenders under existing treaties or other arrangements on mutual legal assistance and between States and the United Nations in investigating and prosecuting crimes alleged against United Nations personnel.
