13. The view was expressed that, while information provided by States of registry to the Secretary-General under the Registration Convention was sufficient for identification in cases where there was only one launching State for a particular space object, that was not so in cases where there were multiple launching States for a particular space object.
13- وأُعرب عن رأي مفاده أنه على الرغم من كون المعلومات التي توفرها دول التسجيل للأمين العام بموجب اتفاقية التسجيل كافية لتحديد الأجسام في الحالات التي تقوم فيها دولة واحدة فقط باطلاق جسم فضائي معين، فإن الوضع يختلف في الحالات التي تقوم فيها عدة دول باطلاق جسم فضائي معين.

(b) International intergovernmental organizations conducting space activities that have not yet declared their acceptance of the rights and obligations under the Registration Convention should do so in accordance with article VII of the Convention;
(ب) ينبغي للمنظمات الحكومية الدولية التي تضطلع بأنشطة فضائية والتي لم تعلن بعد قبولها الحقوق والالتزامات الناشئة بموجب اتفاقية التسجيل أن تفعل ذلك وفقا للمادة السابعة من الاتفاقية؛

The view was expressed that, because space assets could include assets not launched into outer space, certain space assets registered under the space assets protocol might not be registered under the Registration Convention.
132- وأُعرب عن رأي بأنه بالنظر إلى أن الموجودات الفضائية يمكن أن تشمل موجودات لا تُطلق في الفضاء الخارجي فان بعض الموجودات الفضائية المعينة المسجّلة بمقتضى بروتوكول الموجودات الفضائية قد لا تُسجّل بمقتضى اتفاقية التسجيل.

(c) States conducting space activities and international intergovernmental organizations that have declared their acceptance of the rights and obligations under the Registration Convention should, when they have designated focal points for their appropriate registries, provide the Office for Outer Space Affairs of the Secretariat with the contact details of those focal points;
(ج) ينبغي للدول التي تقوم بأنشطة فضائية والمنظمات الحكومية الدولية التي أعلنت قبولها الحقوق والالتزامات الناشئة بموجب اتفاقية التسجيل أن تقدم، عند تحديد مراكز اتصال لسجلاتها المناسبة، عناوين الاتصال بتلك المراكز إلى مكتب شؤون الفضاء الخارجي التابع للأمانة العامة؛

The view was expressed that the International Registry on space assets would be a distinct entity from the Register of Objects Launched into Outer Space maintained by the Secretary-General under the Registration Convention and from the records maintained by ITU on the use of radio frequencies and related orbital locations.
114- ورئي أن السجل الدولي الخاص بالموجودات الفضائية سيكون كيانا منفصلا عن سجل الأجسام المطلقة في الفضاء الخارجي الذي يحتفظ به الأمين العام بمقتضى اتفاقية التسجيل وعن السجلات التي يحتفظ بها الاتحاد الدولي للاتصالات بشأن استخدام الترددات الراديوية وما يتصل بذلك من مواضع مدارية.
