10. In accordance with General Assembly resolution 48/216 B of 23 December 1993, the Board also reviewed the measures taken by UNFPA to implement the recommendations made in its report for the period ended 31 December 1997.

3- يحيط علماً أيضاً بالجهود التي يضطلع بها صندوق الأمم المتحدة للسكان لتنفيذ التوجيه الاستراتيجي المنقح وتوصيات استعراض منتصف المدة للخطة الاستراتيجية للفترة 2008-2013، من خلال خطة العمل؛

8. In accordance with section A, paragraph 7, of General Assembly resolution 51/225 of 3 April 1997, the Board has reviewed the action taken by UNFPA to implement the recommendations made in its reports for the biennium ended 31 December 1997 and earlier, and confirms that there are no outstanding matters.
8 - وفقا للفقرة 7 من الجزء ألف من قرار الجمعية العامة 51/225 المؤرخ 3 نيسان/أبريل 1997، استعرض المجلس الإجراءات التي اتخذها صندوق الأمم المتحدة للسكان لتنفيذ التوصيات الواردة في تقاريره عن فترة السنتين المنتهية في 31 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1997 وما قبلها، ويؤكد المجلس أنه لا توجد مسائل معلّقة.

(c) endorse the establishment of a dedicated trust fund managed by UNFPA to implement the strategy and to provide direct support for reproductive health and gender mainstreaming in relief and transition programming; and
(ج) تأييد إنشاء صندوق استئماني مخصص تحت إدارة صندوق الأمم المتحدة للسكان لتنفيذ الاستراتيجية وتقديم الدعم المباشر في مجالات الصحة الإنجابية وتعميم مراعاة المنظور الجنساني والبرمجة في حالات الإغاثة والانتقال؛

(c) Acknowledge the efforts undertaken by UNFPA to implement the revised strategic direction and the recommendations of the midterm review of the strategic plan, 2008-2013, through the business plan;

٩٥ - وقد عرض التقارير نائب المديرة التنفيذية )لشؤون السياسة واﻹدارة(، وأبرز التدابير التي اتخذها الصندوق لتنفيذ توصيات مجلس مراجعي الحسابات، على النحو الوارد في الوثيقة DP/FPA/1997/4.

9. In accordance with General Assembly resolution 48/216 B of 23 December 1993, the Board also reviewed the measures taken by UNFPA to implement the recommendations made in its report for the period ended 31 December 1999.
