With regard to the UNIDO-UNDP Cooperation Agreement for the enhancement of UNIDO's field presence though the establishment of UNIDO Desks and Joint Programming with UNDP, three additional UNIDO Desks have been agreed upon with UNDP and are in the process of being formally established.
52- وفيما يتعلق باتفاق التعاون بين اليونيدو واليونديب لتعزيز حضور اليونيدو الميداني بإنشاء مكاتب مصغّرة لليونيدو وبوضع برامج مشتركة بينهما، اتُّفق مع اليونديب على إنشاء ثلاثة مكاتب مصغّرة إضافية، ويجري الآن إنشاؤها رسمياً.

Mr. Kurai (Japan) said that Japan welcomed the upscaling of field activities through the strengthening of cooperation and supported the establishment of UNIDO desks in UNDP field offices as a cost-effective means of increasing UNIDO's field presence, promoting United Nations system-wide coherence and " Delivering as One " at country level.

Mr. Elamin (Sudan), speaking on behalf of the Group of 77 and China, expressed satisfaction that for the past four years UNIDO's performance had been ranked first among all the implementing agencies of the United Nations system, and took note of the positive measures taken to reinforce UNIDO's field presence.
11- السيد الأمين (السودان): تكلم بالنيابة عن مجموعة الـ77 والصين، فأعرب عن ارتياحه من أن اليونيدو احتلت المرتبة الأولى في السنوات الأربع الماضية من حيث الأداء من بين جميع الوكالات المنفّذة التابعة لمنظومة الأمم المتحدة، وأحاط علما بالتدابير الإيجابية التي اتخذت لتعزيز الحضور الميداني لليونيدو.
