We expressed the hope that what paragraph 7 of last year's resolution 49/28 termed “the unified character of the Convention” — that is, the Convention on the Law of the Sea — which is now repeated in paragraph 3 of draft resolution A/50/L.34, would be reflected in the organization of the work of the General Assembly.
