5- وسلَّطت أنشطةُ المركز الإقليمي المتعلقة بنشر قواعد التجارة الدولية ومعاييرها، ولا سيما تلك التي وضعتها الأونسيترال، الضوءَ على أهمية استخدام نصوص موحدة في إصلاح القانون التجاري لزيادة إمكانية التنبؤ القانوني وخفض تكلفة التجارة عبر الحدود.

The work carried out by the Centre had shown that, with regard to trade law reform, the States and other actors in the region attached great importance to uniform texts as a means of increasing legal certainty and reducing costs in international trade, particularly since there were no regional economic integration organizations with broad legislative power.
