The Meeting was informed of the progress made in the discussions on the UNISPACE III Conference by the Scientific and Technical Subcommittee at its thirty-fourth session in 1997.
٢٧ - وجرى ابلاغ الاجتماع بالتقدم المحرز في المناقشات حول مؤتمر اليونيسبيس الثالث التي دارت أثناء الدورة الرابعة والثلاثين للجنة الفرعية العلمية والتقنية ، المعقودة في عام ١٩٩٧ .

The Meeting also noted that the Advisory Committee, in response to the request by the General Assembly, had outlined in 1997 the desired form of participation of relevant international, regional and other governmental and non-governmental organizations both in the preparatory activities of the UNISPACE III Conference and on the Conference itself.
