8. Requests the Executive Director to keep Governments informed on further progress achieved in enhancing the role and mandate of the United Nations Environment Programme in the Global Environment Facility. 21/26.

VIII. PARTICIPATION OF THE United Nations Environment Programme in the WORK OF THE GLOBAL ENVIRONMENT FACILITY
ثامناً- مشاركة برنامج الأمم المتحدة للبيئة في أعمال مرفق البيئة العالمية

4. Requests the Executive Director to further develop the work of the United Nations Environment Programme in the area of cooperation with business and industry and to keep Governments informed of further progress in that regard.
يطلب إلى المدير التنفيذي أن يواصل تطوير أعمال برنامج الأمم المتحدة للبيئة في مجال التعاون مع دوائر الأعمال التجارية والصناعة، وإبلاغ الحكومات بإستمرار عن مدى التقدم المحرز في هذا الصدد.

5. Further requests the Executive Director to continue coordinating the activities of the United Nations Environment Programme in the area, including:

Considering the importance of having a clear understanding of activities by the United Nations Environment Programme in the individual regions and how those activities respond to regional needs as expressed by ministerial processes,

Noting with satisfaction the continued close collaboration between the United Nations, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, the World Health Organization and the United Nations Environment Programme in the preparation of the Consolidated List,
وإذ يلاحظ مع الارتياح استمرار التعاون الوثيق فيما بين اﻷمم المتحدة ومنظمة اﻷمم المتحدة لﻷغذية والزراعة ومنظمة الصحة العالمية وبرنامج اﻷمم المتحدة للبيئة في إعداد القائمة الموحﱠدة،
