وقد ناشدت مجلس الأمن على التنديد بانتظام بكافة الهجمات على موظفي الأمم المتحدة وغيرهم من العاملين على تقديم المساعدة الإنسانية، ودعوة الدول الأعضاء التي تقع هذه الهجمات في أراضيها إلى إلقاء القبض على المسؤولين وتقديمهم للمحاكمة أو تسليمهم عند الاقتضاء.
