Mr. Dominik Langenbacher, United Nations Coordinator in Somalia, reported on a number of important activities being undertaken by UNCTAD in the framework of the United Nations programmes of humanitarian assistance and reconstruction in Somalia.

21. Pursuant to General Assembly resolution 46/173, operative paragraph 5 (b), the Secretary-General nominated in December 1991 a Resident Coordinator in Beirut to coordinate all United Nations programmes of assistance for the reconstruction and development of Lebanon.
٢١ - وعملا بالفقرة ٥ )ب( من منطوق قرار الجمعية العامة ٤٦/١٧٣، عين اﻷمين العام في كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩١ منسقا مقيما في بيروت لتنسيق جميع برامج اﻷمم المتحدة للمساعدة في تعمير لبنان وتنميته.

4. Invites States to make use of technical assistance offered by the United Nations programmes of technical assistance in order to strengthen national capacities and infrastructures in the field of administration of justice;
٤ - تدعـو الدول إلى الاستفادة من المساعدة التقنية المقدمة من برامج اﻷمم المتحدة للمساعدة التقنية، بغية تعزيز القدرات والهياكل اﻷساسية الوطنية، في مجال إقامة العدل؛

6. Encourages States to make use of technical assistance offered by the United Nations programmes of advisory services and technical assistance in order to strengthen national capacities and infrastructures in the field of the administration of justice;
٦- تشجع الدول على الاستفادة من المساعدة التقنية المقدمة من برامج اﻷمم المتحدة للخدمات الاستشارية، والمساعدة التقنية، بغية تعزيز القدرات والهياكل اﻷساسية الوطنية في مجال إقامة العدل؛

4. Encourages States to make use of technical assistance offered by the United Nations programmes of advisory services and technical assistance in order to strengthen national capacities and infrastructure in the field of the administration of justice;
٤ - يشجع الدول على أن تستفيد من المساعدة التقنية التي تقدمها برامج اﻷمم المتحدة المتعلقة بالخدمات الاستشارية والمساعدة التقنية من أجل تعزيز القدرات والهياكل اﻷساسية الوطنية في مجال إدارة شؤون قضاء اﻷحداث؛

Recalling also the recommendations of the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development to involve indigenous people and their communities in the United Nations programmes of environment and development as stated in article 22 of the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development and in chapter 26 of Agenda 21,
وإذ تشير أيضا الى توصيات مؤتمر اﻷمم المتحدة المعني بالبيئة والتنمية التي تدعو الى اشراك السكان اﻷصليين ومجتمعاتهم في برامج اﻷمم المتحدة في مجال البيئة والتنمية حسبما جاء في إعلان ريو بشأن البيئة والتنمية وفي الفصل ٦٢ من جدول أعمال القرن الحادي والعشرين،

6. Encourages States to make use of technical assistance offered by the United Nations programmes of advisory services and technical assistance, in order to strengthen national capacities and infrastructures in the field of administration of justice;
٦ - تشجع الدول على الاستفادة من المساعدة التقنية المقدمة من برامج اﻷمم المتحدة للخدمات الاستشارية، والمساعدة التقنية، بغية تعزيز القـدرات والهياكل اﻷساسية الوطنية، فـي مجال إقامة العدل؛

Therefore, we hope to see United Nations programmes of international cooperation in the area of youth focus on the genuine requirements of youth, in our developing countries so that the credibility of international cooperation within the framework of the United Nations becomes a reality.
لذلك نأمل أن تركز برامج اﻷمم المتحدة في مجال التعاون الدولي في قطاع الشباب على الاحتياجات الحقيقية التي يطلبها الشباب ويحتاج إليها في دولنا النامية وذلك حتى تتأكد مصداقية التعاون الدولي في إطار اﻷمم المتحدة.

13. Recommends that States make use of technical assistance offered by the United Nations programmes of advisory services and technical assistance, in order to strengthen national capacities and infrastructures in the field of juvenile justice;
٣١- توصي بأن تستفيد الدول من المساعدة التقنية التي تقدمها برامج اﻷمم المتحدة للخدمات الاستشاريـة والمساعـدة التقنيـة، بغيـة تعزيـز القـدرات والبنـى اﻷساسية الوطنية في ميدان قضاء اﻷحداث؛
