The Committee recommends that the Government of Morocco consider reviewing the reservation entered upon ratification of the Convention with a view to withdrawing it, in the spirit of the Vienna Declaration and Programme of Action adopted in June 1993, in which the World Conference on Human Rights urged States to withdraw reservations to the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
٠٢- وتوصي اللجنة حكومة المغرب بالتفكير في إعادة النظر في التحفظ الذي أبدته عند التصديق على الاتفاقية بغية سحبه، تمشياً مع روح إعلان وبرنامج عمل فيينا اللذين اعتمدا في حزيران/يونيه ٣٩٩١ في المؤتمر العالمي لحقوق اﻹنسان والذي حث الدول على سحب تحفظاتها على اتفاقية حقوق الطفل.

Members asked why the Government had entered a declaration on this article upon ratification of the Convention in so far as choice of residence and domicile by women was concerned, despite the entry into force of the Personal Status Code.
