On 2 March 2009, by its decision 63/417, the General Assembly, on the basis of the recommendations of the Internal Justice Council (see A/63/489), appointed the following persons as full-time judges of the Dispute Tribunal: Mr. Memooda Ebrahim-Carstens (Botswana), Mr. Thomas Laker (Germany) and Mr. Vinod Boolell (Mauritius).
