Condemns in the strongest terms the acts of genocide, violations of international humanitarian law and all violations and abuses of human rights that occurred during the tragedy in Rwanda, especially following the events of 6 April 1994, which resulted in a massive loss of human life, up to one million people;

Expressing also its alarm at the dire consequences of the prolonged conflict for the security of the civilian population throughout the territory of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and its deep concern at all violations and abuses of human rights and international humanitarian law, in particular in the eastern part of the country, especially the Kivus and Kisangani,
وإذ يعرب أيضا عن جزعه إزاء العواقب الوخيمة التي يُلحقها طول أمد القتال بأمن السكان المدنيين في جميع أنحاء إقليم جمهورية الكونغو الديمقراطية، وإذ يعرب عن بالغ قلقه إزاء جميع الانتهاكات والاعتداءات التي يتعرض لها حقوق الإنسان والقانــون الإنساني الدولـــي، ولا سيما في الجزء الشرقي من البلد وعلى وجه الخصوص في كيفوس وكيسانغاني،

18. Urges the Transitional Authorities to ensure, without delay, that all perpetrators of violations and abuses of human rights and violations of international humanitarian law are held accountable;
18 - يحث السلطات الانتقالية على ضمان محاسبة جميع مرتكبي جميع انتهاكات وخروقات حقوق الإنسان وانتهاكات القانون الإنساني الدولي من دون تأخير؛

8. Urges the Malian authorities to further combat impunity and, in this regard, to ensure that all perpetrators of violations and abuses of human rights and violations of international humanitarian law are held accountable, and to continue to cooperate with the International Criminal Court, in accordance with Mali's obligations under the Rome Statute;
8 - يحث سلطات مالي على مواصلة التصدي للإفلات من العقاب، والعمل في هذا الصدد على كفالة مساءلة جميع مرتكبي التجاوزات والانتهاكات الخطيرة لحقوق الإنسان وانتهاكات القانون الدولي الإنساني، وعلى مواصلة التعاون مع المحكمة الجنائية الدولية، وفقا لالتزامات مالي بموجب نظام روما الأساسي؛

1. Strongly condemns the continued and widespread violations and abuses of human rights perpetrated by all actors, and stresses that the perpetrators of such violations and abuses should be held accountable and brought to justice;
1- يدين بشدة التجاوزات وانتهاكات حقوق الإنسان المستمرة والواسعة الانتشار المرتكبة على يد جميع الأطراف الفاعلة، ويشدد على ضرورة مساءلة مرتكبيها وتقديمهم إلى العدالة؛

" The Security Council expresses its grave concern at the recent deterioration of the security situation, including many cases of violations and abuses of human rights and acts of violence against persons and property, intimidation, threats and restrictions of freedom of expression and assembly and notes that in several cases, these acts have reportedly been carried out by state and non-state armed elements.

The Council calls upon the Federal Government of Somalia to ensure that all perpetrators of violations and abuses of human rights and violations of international humanitarian law are held fully accountable, in line with the relevant provision of international humanitarian law and human rights law.
ويهيب المجلس بحكومة الصومال الاتحادية أن تكفل محاسبة جميع مرتكبي الانتهاكات والتجاوزات التي تمس حقوق الإنسان ومرتكبي انتهاكات القانون الإنساني الدولي على نحو تام، وفقا للأحكام ذات الصلة من القانون الإنساني الدولي والقانون الدولي لحقوق الإنسان.

In this respect, there should be strong international support for the establishment of the Independent National Commission on Human Rights and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission provided for in the Comprehensive Peace Agreement, as well as the development of a national law enforcement system capable of dealing with serious violations and abuses of human rights and humanitarian law.
وفي هذا الصدد، ينبغي الحصول على دعم دولي قوي لإنشاء اللجنة الوطنية المستقلة المعنية بحقوق الإنسان ولجنة الحقيقة والمصالحة المنصوص عليهما في اتفاق السلام الشامل، وكذلك لتطوير نظام وطني لإنفاذ القوانين يكون قادراً على معالجة الانتهاكات والتجاوزات في مجال حقوق الإنسان والقانون الإنساني.
