33. By its resolution 51/76 on the girl child, the General Assembly urged all States to take all necessary measures and to institute legal reforms to ensure the full and equal enjoyment by the girl child of all human rights and fundamental freedoms, and to take effective action against violations of those rights and freedoms.
٣٣- حثت الجمعية العامة في قرارها ١٥/٦٧ المتعلق بالطفلة جميع الدول على اتخاذ كافة التدابير الضرورية وإجراء اﻹصلاحات القانونية لضمان تمتع الطفلة بجميع حقوق اﻹنسان والحريات اﻷساسية تمتعاً كاملاً وعلى قدم المساواة واتخاذ إجراءات فعالة لمناهضة انتهاكات هذه الحقوق والحريات.

(a) To take all necessary measures and to institute legal reforms to ensure the full and equal enjoyment by girls of all human rights and fundamental freedoms, to take effective actions against violations of those rights and freedoms and to base programmes and policies for the girl child on the rights of the child and women;
(أ) اتخاذ جميع التدابير الضرورية وإجراء الإصلاحات القانونية اللازمة لضمان تمتع الطفلة بجميع حقوق الإنسان والحريات الأساسية تمتعاً كاملاً ومتساوياً، واتخاذ إجراءات فعالة ضد انتهاكات هذه الحقوق والحريات ووضع البرامج والسياسات الخاصة بالطفلة على أساس حقوق الطفل والمرأة؛

Its function is to monitor the application of the rights and freedoms set forth in the Bill of Rights contained in the Constitution and to receive complaints concerning alleged violations of those rights and freedoms.
تختص بمراقبة تطبيق الحقوق والحريات الواردة في وثيقة الحقوق بالدستور وتتلقى الشكاوى حول الإدعاءات بانتهاكات الحقوق والحريات.
