26. I should like to conclude this report by renewing my appeal to the warring factions in Afghanistan to cease all hostilities and take up serious and honest negotiations under the good offices of the United Nations Special Mission to Afghanistan.
٢٦ - وأود أن أختتم هذا التقرير بأن أجدد ندائي إلى الفصائل المتحاربة في أفغانستان بالتوقف عن جميع اﻷعمال العدائية والشروع في مفاوضات جادة ومخلصة في إطار المساعي الحميدة للبعثة.

The international community should view with grave concern the ultimate destination of the numerous arms supplied to warring factions in conflict areas as those conflicts move towards resolution.
