1. Some 196 mines, bombs, rockets and other ordnance left behind by the 30-Power aggression against Iraq were found and disposed of in all parts of the country between 1 October and 1 December 1997. The items included American-made cluster bombs as well as spherical bombs, air-launched bombs and anti-personnel mines. They were found in the following governorates: Ninawa, Basrah, Anbar, Salah al-Din and Muthanna.
١ - بلغ عدد اﻷلغام والقنابل والصواريخ واﻷعتدة اﻷخرى من مخلفات العدوان الثلاثيني على العراق التي تم العثور عليها ومعالجتها في مختلف أنحاء العراق للفترة من ١ تشرين اﻷول/أكتوبر ٧٩٩١ لغاية ١ كانون اﻷول/ ديسمبر ٧٩٩١، )٦٩١( متفجرة منها قنابل عنقودية أمريكية وقنابل كروية وقنابل طائرات وألغام ضد اﻷشخاص وجدت في المحافظات اﻵتية: نينوي، البصرة، اﻷنبار، صلاح الدين، المثنى.

On instructions from my Government, I have the honour to inform you that 29 mines, bombs, missiles and other unexploded ordnance left behind by the 1991 30-nation aggression against Iraq were found and disposed of in all parts of the country between 1 October and 30 November 2000. The items were found in the following governorates: Dhi Qar, Muthanna, Anbar, Maysan, Salah al-Din and Ninawa.

On instructions from my Government, I have the honour to inform you that 237 explosive devices including mines, bombs, missiles and unexploded ordnance left behind by the 30-Power aggression against Iraq were found and disposed of between 1 June and 31 July 2000 in Dhi Qar, Najaf, Ninawa, Anbar, Salah al-Din, Basra and Qadisiyah Governorates.

The items included American-made cluster bombs as well as spherical bombs, strip bombs, spindle bombs and air-launched dispensers.

On instructions from my Government, I have the honour to inform you that 151 unexploded bombs, missiles and other ordnance left behind by the 30-Power aggression against Iraq were found and disposed of in various parts of Iraqi territory between 1 June and 31 July 1997. They included American-made cluster bombs, as well as fragmentation bombs, strip bombs and spindle bombs, and were found in the governorates of Ninawa, Basra, Ta'mim and Anbar.

The items included American-made cluster bombs, spherical bombs, air-launched bombs and an artillery shell.

On instructions from my Government, I have the honour to inform you that, between 1 August and 30 September 2000, 56 explosive devices (mines, bombs, missiles, etc.) left behind by the 30-Power aggression against Iraq were found and disposed of in Ninawa, Ta'mim, Anbar, Najaf, Qadisiyah, Dhi Qar and Basra Governorates.

In some cases, unidentified bodies were found and buried by local authorities on the day of their discovery.
