In its resolution 1997/64, the Commission on Human Rights extended the mandate of the Special Rapporteur, as contained in Commission resolution 1992/58, and requested the Special Rapporteur to keep a gender perspective in mind when seeking and analysing information.
٣٥- في القرار ٧٩٩١/٤٦، مدت لجنة حقوق اﻹنسان ولاية المقرر الخاص، حسبما هي مبينة في قرار اللجنة ٢٩٩١/٨٥ وطلبت إلى المقرر الخاص أن يتبع منظوراً يراعي نوع الجنس عند التماس المعلومات وتحليلها.

During the period covered by this report, the Special Rapporteur has continued to develop her contacts with a variety of sources, including Governments, organizations and migrants, paying special attention to the gender perspective when seeking and analysing information as recommended by the Commission on Human Rights in its resolutions concerning the mandate.
5- وتابعت المقررة الخاصة خلال الفترة التي يغطيها هذا التقرير تعزيز اتصالاتها مع شتى المصادر ذات الصلة، لا سيما الحكومات والمنظمات والمهاجرين، وحرصت بشكل خاص على اعتماد نهج يراعي الجنسين عند طلب المعلومات وتحليلها، كما أوصتها به لجنة حقوق الإنسان في قراراتها المتصلة بولايتها.

2. In its resolution 2002/67, the Commission requested the Special Rapporteur to report to the General Assembly at its fifty-seventh session and to the Commission at its fifty-ninth session, keeping a gender perspective in mind when seeking and analysing information (para. 8 (a)).
2- وقد طلبت اللجنة في قرارها 2002/67 إلى المقرر الخاص أن يقدم تقريرا إلى الجمعية العامة في دورتها السابعة والخمسين، وتقريراً إلى اللجنة في دورتها التاسعة والخمسين، على أن يضع في اعتباره منظوراً جنسانياً عند طلب المعلومات وتحليلها (الفقرة 8(أ)).

and to request the Special Rapporteur to submit an interim report to the General Assembly at its fifty-second session and a report to the Commission at its fifty-fourth session, keeping a gender perspective in mind when seeking and analysing information, and also approved the Commission's request to the Secretary-General to continue to give all necessary assistance to the Special Rapporteur to enable him to discharge his mandate fully.

The mandate was extended for a further year by resolution 1999/17 of the Commission on Human Rights, which requested the Special Rapporteur to submit an interim report to the General Assembly at its fiftyfourth session and to report to the Commission at its fifty-sixth session, keeping a gender perspective in mind when seeking and analysing information (para. 8).

In paragraph 8 (a) of the latest resolution, the Commission requested the Special Rapporteur to report to the General Assembly at its fifty-seventh session and to the Commission at its fifty-ninth session, keeping a gender perspective in mind when seeking and analysing information.
