وإذا اقتُرح تعديلان أو أكثر على مقترح، يصوِّت المؤتمر أولا على التعديل الأبعد من حيث الموضوع عن المقترح الأصلي ثم على التعديل الأقرب منه، وهكذا دواليك حتى تُطرح جميع التعديلات للتصويت.
