Article 2140 of the Judicial Code allows for the provisional arrest of a person upon the request of the State seeking extradition, in cases where the offence in question is subject to a minimum sentence of at least four years' imprisonment.
فالمادة 2140 من القانوني القضائي تسمح بالاعتقال المؤقَّت للشخص المطلوب بناء على طلب من الدولة التي تطلب تسليمه إذا كانت الجريمة المعنية تخضع لعقوبة لا يقلّ حدها الأدنى عن أربع سنوات سجناً.
