(c) In accordance with their domestic law, to provide effective protection for victims of, witnesses to, and others who provide information in relation to, crimes of a serious nature alleged to have been committed by United Nations officials and experts on mission and to facilitate access by victims to victim assistance programmes, without prejudice to the rights of the alleged offender, including those relating to due process;
(ج) توفير الحماية الفعالة، وفقا لقانونها الداخلي، للضحايا والشهود في الجرائم الخطيرة التي يدعى أن موظفي الأمم المتحدة وخبراءها الموفدين في بعثات قد ارتكبوها ولغيرهم ممن يقدمون معلومات بشأن تلك الجرائم، وتيسير سبل استفادة الضحايا من البرامج المتعلقة بمساعدة الضحايا، دون المساس بحقوق المدعى عليه بارتكاب الجريمة، بما فيها الحقوق المرتبطة بالإجراءات القانونية الواجبة؛

(h) Not sanction nor carry out acts that could be detrimental for people or organizations who provide information to the national mechanism;
(ح) أن لا تعاقب أو تقوم بأعمال يمكن أن تضر بأولئك الأشخاص أو المنظمات التي تقدم معلومات إلى الآلية الوطنية؛

5. Urges the Government of the Sudan to publicize the existence and activities of the Special Investigation Committee, to guarantee that those who provide information to it will not suffer any negative consequences as a result and to involve local authorities in its activities;

It must be underscored that it is they who provide information to the relevant authorities about the property in their possession.
