4. The Fifth Committee recommends that the General Assembly appoint Agustin Gordillo (Argentina) and reappoint Dayendra Sena Wijewardane (Sri Lanka) as members of the United Nations Administrative Tribunal for a four-year term of office beginning on 1 January 2008.
4 - توصي اللجنة الخامسة الجمعية العامة بتعيين أغوستين غورديّو (الأرجنتين) وإعادة تعيين دايندرا سينا وجيواردين (سري لانكا) عضوين في المحكمة الإدارية للأمم المتحدة لفترة عضوية مدتها أربع سنوات اعتبارا من 1 كانون الثاني/يناير 2008.

Ms. Wijewardane (Sri Lanka), speaking on behalf of the Asian Group, said that, thanks to the commitment of its Member States and the dedication of its staff and leadership, UNIDO had proven itself as a leading development organization within the United Nations system.

The President: In paragraph 5 of its report the Fifth Committee recommends that the General Assembly appoint the following persons as members of the United Nations Administrative Tribunal for a four-year term of office beginning on 1 January 2004: Mr. Julio Barboza (Argentina) and Mr. Dayendra Sena Wijewardane (Sri Lanka).
الرئيس (تكلم بالانكليزية): توصي اللجنة الخامسة في الفقرة 5 من تقريرها الجمعية العامة بتعيين الشخصين التاليين عضوين في المحكمة الإدارية للأمم المتحدة لولاية مدتها أربع سنوات تبدأ في 1 كانون الثاني/يناير 2004: السيد خوليو باربوسا (الأرجنتين) والسيد دايندرا سينا ويجيواردين (سري لانكا).

2. At its 52nd plenary meeting, on 15 November 2007, the General Assembly, on the recommendation of the Fifth Committee (A/62/532, para. 4), reappointed Dayendra Sena Wijewardane (Sri Lanka) and appointed Agustín Gordillo (Argentina) as members of the United Nations Administrative Tribunal for a fouryear term of office beginning on 1 January 2008 (decisions 62/412).
2 - بناء على توصية اللجنة الخامسة (A/62/532، الفقرة 4)، قامت الجمعية العامة في جلستها العامة 52 المعقودة في 15 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2007 بإعادة تعيين دايندرا سينا ويجيواردين (سري لانكا) وبتعيين أغوستين غورديو (الأرجنتين) عضوين في المحكمة الإدارية للأمم المتحدة لفترة أربع سنوات تبدأ في 1 كانون الثاني/يناير 2008 (المقرر 62/412).

3. At the same meeting the Committee decided, by acclamation, to recommend to the General Assembly that it appoint Agustin Gordillo (Argentina) and reappoint Dayendra Sena Wijewardane (Sri Lanka) as members of the United Nations Administrative Tribunal for a four-year term of office beginning on 1 January 2008 (see para. 4 below).
3 - وفي الجلسة نفسها، قررت اللجنة، بالتزكية، أن توصي الجمعية العامة بتعيين أغوستين غورديّو (الأرجنتين) وإعادة تعيين دايندرا سينا وجيواردين (سري لانكا) عضوين في المحكمة الإدارية للأمم المتحدة لفترة عضوية مدتها أربع سنوات تبدأ في 1 كانون الثاني/يناير 2008 (انظر الفقرة 4 أدناه).
