Belgium is particularly pleased by the fact that this document takes up the main recommendations of the Stockholm Declaration and Agenda for Action, and that it supports the activities of the Working Group on Contemporary Forms of Slavery to prepare an optional protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child with regard to the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography.

(ب) أي فقه قانوني مهم اعتمدته المحاكم في الدولة الطرف فيما يتعلق ببيع الأطفال، وبغاء الأطفال واستغلال الأطفال في المواد الإباحية، لا سيما السوابق القضائية التي تطبق الاتفاقية، أو البروتوكول، أو أية صكوك دولية متصلة بهما وردت الإشارة إليها في هذه المبادئ التوجيهية؛

7. Decides that, with immediate effect and until 1 September 1996, the restrictions imposed by paragraph 13 of resolution 918 (1994) shall not apply with regard to the sale or supply of arms and related matériel to the Government of Rwanda through named points of entry on a list to be supplied by that Government to the Secretary-General, who shall promptly notify all Member States of the United Nations of the list;
٧ - يقرر أنه، مع التنفيذ الفوري وحتى ١ أيلول/سبتمبر ١٩٩٦، لا تسري القيود المفروضة بموجب الفقرة ١٣ من القرار ٩١٨ )١٩٩٤( فيما يتعلق ببيع أو توريد اﻷسلحة واﻷعتدة ذات الصلة الى حكومة رواندا عن طريق نقاط دخول معينة مدرجة في قائمة تقدمها تلك الحكومة الى اﻷمين العام، الذي يقوم على الفور بإخطار جميع الدول اﻷعضاء في اﻷمم المتحدة بتلك القائمة؛

48. with regard to the sale of children, the representative of Italy expressed full agreement with the need for the optional protocol to focus on criminal acts relating to the sexual exploitation of children so as to avoid losing both focus and impact.
٨٤- وفيما يتعلق ببيع اﻷطفال، أعرب ممثل إيطاليا عن تأييده الكامل لضرورة أن يركز البروتوكول الاختياري على اﻷفعال اﻹجرامية المتعلقة بالاستغلال الجنسي لﻷطفال بغية تفادي فقدان التركيز والتأثير على السواء.

with regard to the sale and trafficking of children, the Committee encourages the Government to clearly prohibit this illegal activity and to ensure that the right of the child to have his/her identity preserved is fully endorsed.
