271- ولاحظت اللجنة بارتياح أنَّ بعض الدول اتخذت تدابير لتنفيذ التوجيهات والمبادئ والمعايير المعترف بها دولياً من خلال تضمين تشريعاتها الوطنية أحكاماً ذات صلة، وبذلك أصبحت المعايير الدولية غير الملزمة جزءاً لا يتجزأ من تلك التشريعات.

The Subcommittee noted with satisfaction that some States were implementing space debris mitigation measures consistent with the Space Debris Mitigation Guidelines of the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space and/or the IADC Space Debris Mitigation Guidelines, and that other States had developed their own space debris mitigation standards based on those guidelines.
79- ولاحظت اللجنة الفرعية بارتياح أنَّ بعض الدول تنفّذ تدابير للتخفيف من الحطام الفضائي تتسق مع المبادئ التوجيهية لتخفيف الحطام الفضائي الصادرة عن لجنة استخدام الفضاء الخارجي في الأغراض السلمية، و/أو المبادئ التوجيهية لتخفيف الحطام الفضائي الصادرة عن لجنة التنسيق المشتركة والمعنية بالحطام الفضائي، وأنَّ دولاً أخرى قد وضعت لنفسها معايير لتخفيف الحطام الفضائي تستند إلى تلك المبادئ التوجيهية.
