The Committee recommends that the State party make every effort to strengthen family ties and the capacity of parents to fulfil their role in contributing to the protection of children’s rights and providing, in a manner consistent with the evolving capacities of the child, appropriate direction and guidance in the exercise by the child of the rights recognized in the Convention.
1179- وتوصي اللجنة أن تبذل الدولة الطرف كل جهد ممكن لتعزيز الروابط الأسرية وقدرة الآباء على الإسهام بدورهم في حماية حقوق الأطفال وتوفير التوجيه والإرشاد المناسبين لممارسة الطفل حقوقه التي تقرها الاتفاقية، وذلك على نحو يتفق مع القدرات المتنامية للطفل.

Parents have the most important role in the bringing up of children and are encouraged to deal with rights issues with their children " in a manner consistent with the evolving capacities of the child " (ibid., article 5).
