6. Portugal has cooperated with the Special Committee on the Situation with Regard to the Implementation of the Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples.
٦ - وقد تعاونت البرتغال مع اللجنة الخاصة المعنية بحالة تنفيذ إعلان منح الاستقلال للبلدان والشعوب المستعمرة.

The representative of OIOS clarified that it was recommending that the Department work together with the Special Committee on the Situation with regard to the Implementation of the Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples to improve the working papers in order to facilitate the work of the Committee; combining the working papers was just one option for consideration.
وأوضح ممثل المكتب أن المكتب يوصي بأن تعمل الإدارة مع اللجنة الخاصة المعنية بحالة تنفيذ إعلان منح الاستقلال للبلدان والشعوب المستعمرة على تحسين ورقات العمل بغية تيسير عمل اللجنة؛ وأن توحيد ورقات العمل ليس إلا خيارا واحدا من الخيارات المطروحة للنظر فيها.

5. However, as a result of informal consultations with the Special Committee held during its substantive session in 2000, both administering Powers reaffirmed their desire to continue an informal dialogue with the Special Committee on the questions.
بيد أنه نتيجة للمشاورات غير الرسمية التي أجريت مع اللجنة الخاصة أثناء دورتها الموضوعية لعام 2000، أكدت كلتا الدولتين القائمتين بالإدارة من جديد رغبتهما في مواصلة الحوار غير الرسمي مع اللجنة الخاصة بشأن تلك المسائل.

13 - ينبغي أن تستمر الدول القائمة بالإدارة في التعاون مع اللجنة الخاصة المعنية بحالة تنفيذ إعلان منح الاستقلال للبلدان والشعوب المستعمرة، أو تستأنف هذا التعاون وأن تنغمس بنشاط في أعمالها.
